Conduent Completes $164 Million Sale of Public Transit Unit to Modaxo

10:18 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Conduent (CNDT) completed the sale of its public transit business to Modaxo for $164 million, subject to adjustments. The business comprises Conduent's transit-fare management and fleet-management operations in North America, Europe, Australia, the Middle East and Latin America, the company said Thursday. Conduent agreed in June to sell its tolling business to Quarterhill, and that deal is expected to close before the end of the year. Conduent said that once the tolling deal closes, it will have exited its transportation business and will operate its commercial and government segments.
