08:10 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- UnitedHealth Group (UNH) unit UnitedHealthcare has unveiled its Medicare Advantage plans for 2027 that will be available to more than 94% of Medicare-eligible individuals nationwide, the company said Thursday. UnitedHealthcare said it expands access to plans with no premiums and primary care visit costs, along with affordable prescription drug coverage. Approximately 90% of Medicare-eligible consumers with access to UnitedHealthcare's Medicare portfolio will have a cost-free premium option, the company said. All members will have access to no cost primary care visits and preventive care services next year. About 95% of Medicare-eligible individuals in areas UnitedHealthcare operate will have access to a Medicare Advantage HMO plan in 2027, with most having a no cost premium, the company said.
