Azitra cleared Cohort 1 in a Phase 1/2 trial of topical ATR04-484 for EGFR inhibitor-associated skin rash.
Safety data from Cohort 1 have already been reviewed, enabling enrollment and dosing to start in Cohort 2.
The review supported continued development, with the study moving forward without raising new safety concerns in early dosing.
Cohort 2 targets about 24 patients on once-daily dosing for 28 days, with early signs of activity to be assessed later.
