American Battery Technology Gets License for Up to $100 Million Black Mass Material Exports

06:26 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- American Battery Technology (ABAT) has received approval from the US Commerce Department's Bureau of Industry and Security to export up to $100 million of recycled black mass material under specified terms, the company said Thursday. The license follows new federal export controls on critical battery materials and allows it to continue selling recycled critical minerals to overseas markets, the company added.
