Rocket Lab to Launch 20 Satellites for Japan's Synspective

04:27 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rocket Lab (RKLB) said Wednesday it has secured a multi-year agreement for its Electron rocket to carry out 20 launches for Japanese satellite company Synspective. Financial terms of the deal, which marks the largest commercial launch contract for Electron, were not disclosed. The 20 launches, deploying StriX synthetic aperture radar satellites, are scheduled to take place annually from 2028 through 2031, the company said.
