07:23 PM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kalshi Inc. is finalizing a new financing round that would value the prediction market platform at around $40 billion, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter. The deal is expected to be the startup's last round before an initial public offering, which is anticipated as soon as next year, the report said. The valuation would almost quadruple the $11 billion investors gave Kalshi last December. The company last raised money in March at a $22 billion valuation, according to the report. Sequoia Capital and Wellington Management are in talks to lead the round, the report said. Kalshi, Sequoia and Wellington did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
