05:56 PM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Alamo Group (ALG) said late Wednesday it will cease production of its Dixie Chopper branded line of products following a review of its product portfolio. The firm said it expects to incur $15.0 million to $20.0 million in charges in Q3 due to the action, including $1.0 to $4.0 million in cash expenditures related to inventory returns, and other costs.

According to Freddie Mac data, the 30-year fixed mortgage rate has risen to 7.4%, the highest level in nearly three years.
