Blaize to Reduce Workforce by Nearly 26%

05:27 PM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Blaize (BZAI) said late Wednesday it will implement a restructuring plan, reducing its workforce by approximately 26%, along with other operational efficiency measures. The company said it expects the restructuring plan to generate annualized savings of approximately $7.5 million to $8.4 million. Total costs and cash expenditures related to the restructuring are expected to be about $1.1 million to $1.3 million, mostly for employee severance and benefits, with majority of these pre-tax charges occurring during Q3. The company expects to complete the restructuring plan by Dec. 31.
