04:35 PM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cars.com (CARS) said late Wednesday it has appointed Trent Ziegler as its chief financial officer-designate, effective Oct. 19. Ziegler will formally assume the role on Nov. 6, succeeding Sonia Jain, the company said, adding that Jain will serve as an executive advisor to the firm through March 31, 2027. Ziegler previously served as CFO at FairSquare, a fintech holding company, the company said.
