Satellos Bioscience Completes Enrollment in Phase 2 Basecamp Trial

02:00 PM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Satellos Bioscience (MSCL.TO) said on Wednesday that enrollment for the company's Phase 2 clinical trial evaluating forazapadin in boys suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is complete. The Basecamp study covers 18 international clinical sites and will evaluate the effectiveness of forazapadin, the company's small molecule drug candidate, in restoring muscle regeneration in boys aged seven to ten years, a statement added. Satellos plans to release topline clinical data in the first quarter of 2027. "The enthusiasm and commitment of the Duchenne community have enabled us to exceed our enrollment target and build a robust global study," said Wildon Farwell, chief medical officer at Satellos.
