BSR REIT to List on the New York Stock Exchange

11:49 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BSR Real Estate Investment Trust (HOM-UN.TO, HOM-U.TO) said Wednesday it is plans to list its units on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "BSRT." The REIT intends to list the units on the NYSE in mid-October. The ticker symbol for its listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange will be changed from "HOM-UN" to "BSRT-UN." BSR's US-dollar-denominated listing, "HOM-U", will be delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange. Trading under the REIT's current OTCQX symbol, "BSRTF", will cease with the NYSE listing, a statement added. BSR REIT units were last seen up CA$0.10 to CA$15.30 on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The U.S. Census Bureau reported on Friday that factory orders in August increased by 0.1% month-on-month, in line with market expectations, and rose by 6.8% year-on-year. The July month-on-month increase was revised down from 0.9% to 0.8%. Orders for machinery and electrical equipment grew by 1.1% month-on-month, while orders for civilian aircraft and parts saw a significant decline of 4.3% month-on-month. Excluding aircraft, non-defense capital goods orders increased by 1.6% month-on-month.
