US Stock Movement | Apple (AAPL.US) rises 3% as it plans to aggressively enter the smart home market

According to Golden Ten Data APP, on Wednesday, Apple (AAPL.US) rose by 3%, closing at $339.33. In terms of news, it was reported that Apple plans to make a significant push into the smart home market on October 13, marking a key product line expansion under the leadership of new CEO Tenus. According to insiders, the core of this strategy is a smart home control device, codenamed J490.
Apple also intends to release the first update for HomePod mini since its debut in 2020, as well as launch a new Apple TV set-top box for the first time since 2022. These products will also showcase Apple’s new Siri artificial intelligence assistant, developed over many years. The release of the upgraded Siri had been delayed multiple times, but these smart home devices are expected to highlight Apple’s efforts to catch up in the field of artificial intelligence.
Insiders revealed that the smart home control device will feature a design with an approximately 6-inch square display and will be available in wall-mounted and desktop versions. The new HomePod mini and Apple TV will retain their current designs but will be equipped with faster processors to support more powerful Siri AI models.
