Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal expected August core PCE inflation to rise by 0.3%. "Treasury Yields Fall on Lower-Than-Expected Inflation Data," published at 8:54 a.m. EDT failed to mention that the number referred to core inflation and mistakenly stated that economists forecast a 0.4% pace.
