Skyworks Solutions Receives All Regulatory Clearances for Qorvo Merger

09:25 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Skyworks Solutions (SWKS) has received all necessary regulatory clearances to proceed with its previously announced combination with Qorvo (QRVO), the company said Wednesday. The parties expect to close the transaction on or about Oct. 5, subject to satisfaction or waiver of the remaining customary closing conditions, according to a statement. Additionally, Skyworks previously announced offers to exchange Qorvo's outstanding 4.375% senior notes due 2029 and 3.375% senior notes due 2031 for new Skyworks notes. The company expects to make related consent payments concurrently with, or promptly following, the merger's closing. Skyworks Solutions and Qorvo had previously announced an agreement to combine in a cash-and-stock transaction on Oct. 28, 2025, it said.
