07:19 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Apple (AAPL) is set to launch its first smart-home hub on Oct. 13, along with an updated HomePod mini and Apple TV set-top box, Bloomberg reported Wednesday. The smart-home hub, code-named J490, will feature a roughly 6-inch display, AI-powered Siri and personalized controls, while supporting device management, video calls, music and photos, the report said. The new HomePod mini and Apple TV will retain their designs with faster processors to support Siri's AI models, while Apple is developing a security camera and an upgraded hub with a larger display and robotic arm, the report said. Apple did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally. She partially attributed inflationary pressures to higher oil prices caused by the Iran conflict, and expects the energy shock to subside as hostilities ease. Yellen refuted the notion of an AI bubble, arguing that investments by major tech companies are grounded in solid business logic.
