DBV Technologies Submits US FDA Application for Potential Pediatric Peanut Allergy Patch

06:18 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- DBV Technologies (DBVT) has submitted a biologics license application to the US Food and Drug Administration for the Viaskin Peanut Patch as a potential treatment for children aged 4 to 7 with a peanut allergy, the company said Tuesday. DBV has requested Priority Review of the application for Viaskin, which has already been granted breakthrough therapy designation, the company said. The Viaskin Peanut Patch uses epicutaneous immunotherapy to deliver small amounts of peanut allergen protein through the skin, according to DBV. The application is supported by results from a 654-participant phase 3 clinical trial, the company said. The company said the study was the largest immunotherapy clinical trial conducted to date for this population.
