Kioxia joins Applied Materials EPIC Center to jointly develop next-generation storage technology

Applied Materials announced that Kioxia has joined its “Applied EPIC (Equipment and Process Innovation and Commercialization) Center” as an innovation partner to jointly drive the development of next-generation storage technologies. Through this collaboration, both parties will jointly research advanced storage cell and structure formation, multi-chip stacking architectures, and new material engineering approaches at the EPIC Center, aiming to enhance storage density and performance required in the age of artificial intelligence.
