12:25 PM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Manulife Financial (MFC.TO) is partnering with AI health company Sword, to offer AI-enabled physiotherapy sessions to eligible Group Benefits members, the company said on Tuesday. The program will support members who are on disability and experiencing acute or chronic musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, such as neck, back and joint pain, and help improve recovery and return-to-work outcomes. Musculoskeletal conditions are among the leading causes of disability and workplace absence in Canada, Manulife said. The first phase of this partnership will provide eligible members on disability with access to licenced Canadian physiotherapists. In 2027, Manulife and Sword will advance to the next phase, expanding the program to all Group Benefits members with extended healthcare coverage and increasing access to physiotherapy support across Canada. Manulife Financial shares were last seen edging down CA$0.33 to CA$61.33 on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Price: 61.27, Change: -0.39, Percent Change: -0.63
