European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Lower in Tuesday Trading

11:07 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were lower on Tuesday morning, decreasing 0.2% to 1,918.22 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index. From continental Europe, the gainers were led by solar technology company Turbo Energy (TURB) and semiconductor company ASML (ASML), which gained 7.6% and 3.7%, respectively. They were followed by telecoms and network equipment provider Nokia (NOK), which climbed 3%. The decliners from continental Europe were led by biotechnology company Inventiva (IVA) and beverage giant Anheuser-Busch Inbev (BUD), which fell nearly 6% and 4.1% respectively. They were followed by healthcare company Fresenius Medical Care (FMS), which shed 3.3%. From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by semiconductor company Arm (ARM) and hospitality company InterContinental Hotels (IHG), which added 5.3% and 0.5%, respectively. The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by cigarette maker British American Tobacco (BTI) and consumer packaged goods company Unilever (UL), which lost 2.9% and 2.2% respectively. They were followed by consumer healthcare company Haleon (HLN), which shed 1.9%.
