AT&T, Corning Team Up on $3 Billion Plus Fiber Network Expansion

09:08 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AT&T (T) and Corning (GLW) agreed to a multi-year deal worth more than $3 billion, with Corning providing fiber and cable to support AT&T's network expansion, the companies said Tuesday. The agreement supports AT&T's goal of extending fiber connectivity to 60 million Americans by the end of 2030 amid rising data demand from streaming, cloud services and AI. The agreement supports AT&T's efforts to expand and strengthen its fiber network, while Corning will continue investing in US fiber and cable manufacturing, AT&T added.
