Sidus Space Targets April Launch for LizzieSat Satellites

09:43 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sidus Space (SIDU) said Monday that it expects its LizzieSat-4 and LizzieSat-5 satellites to launch aboard SpaceX's (SPCX) Bandwagon-6 rideshare mission no earlier than April 2027. The space and defense technology company said LizzieSat-4 is currently in production and will soon be subject to environmental testing, while LizzieSat-5 has already completed environmental testing and is awaiting final integration. LizzieSat-5 had been slated to ride aboard SpaceX's Transporter-18 rideshare mission, which is expected to launch no earlier than October 2026, but Sidus said it pushed the satellite's launch to Bandwagon-6 to expand qualification testing of its Fortis VPX - Maxima platform.
