MT newswireMT newswire2026/09/25 09:10
05:10 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- DensityAI is in late-stage discussions to raise hundreds of millions of dollars in a funding round that would value the AI chip startup at roughly $10 billion, The Information reported late Thursday, citing two people familiar with the matter. Andreessen Horowitz has been in discussions to lead the round for DensityAI, which was founded by former leaders of Tesla's (TSLA) Dojo supercomputer program, one of the sources told the news outlet. The firm's leaders have told prospective investors they have struck a deal in which Amazon (AMZN) Web Services would acquire eventual chips from DensityAI, subject to certain performance requirements, according to the report. DensityAI, Andreessen Horowitz and Amazon didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
