MetLife Sees Q3 Variable Investment Income Pre-tax of at Least $600 Million

05:25 PM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- MetLife (MET) said in a filing Thursday that it estimates Q3 variable investment income of at least $600 million pre-tax, compared with full-year 2026 guidance of approximately $1.6 billion pre-tax. The company said the preliminary figure, which includes income from private equity, real estate and other funds and prepayment fees, is unaudited and based on information available ahead of its full quarterly results, scheduled for release on Nov. 4.
