Some Pi Network users who were stuck in the KYC or Mainnet migration process can now move forward after the network introduced several fixes. The changes address problems with identity checks and wallets that had affected eligible Pioneers.
More than 417,000 Pioneers can now resume KYC after Pi resolved duplicate-account flags. Another 497,000 Pioneers are expected to be unblocked soon. Those users received Fast-Track wallets but lacked Pi for migration gas fees.
Pi also improved its KYC app to reduce processing errors. Affected Yoti users can now resubmit missing liveness data.
Users on older and lower-spec phones can now access expanded liveness checks. Pi also introduced a one-month palm-print trial for selected users who need repeated liveness checks.
Indonesian Pioneers whose KYC was rejected because of outdated KIA IDs can now resubmit using supported documents. These changes are aimed at addressing several migration bottlenecks.
However, some users may still require separate fixes before completing the process. Pi advises Pioneers to check the KYC app, complete liveness checks and retry failed migration claims.
According to CoinMarketCap, PI traded near $0.0888, up 0.27% over 24 hours as the updates rolled out.
