Update: New Era Energy & Digital Shares Rise After Unit Signs 20-Year Power Deal With Vistra Affiliate

02:07 PM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates with the latest stock price movement in the headline and the first paragraph.) New Era Energy & Digital's (NUAI) shares rose 31% in Monday trading after the company said its unit, TCDC PowerCo, signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Vistra (VST) affiliate Luminant ET Services. The agreement stipulates that Luminant will supply a minimum of 200 megawatts and up to 207 megawatts of power for the first phase of New Era's Texas Critical Data Center project, the company said. Financial terms of the agreement were not provided. Luminant will supply power from Vistra's natural gas-fired generating facility in Odessa, Texas, which is located adjacent to the project site, New Era said. The firm's contracted power is expected to be available for the project in Q3 of next year. Price: 7.69, Change: +1.83, Percent Change: +31.14

October 7 - Shares of Australian uranium mining companies surged after Google (GOOGL.O) signed a power agreement with Constellation Energy (CEG.O), the largest nuclear power plant operator in the United States (link).
