He claimed all the negative comments about artificial intelligence taking over the world, destroying humanity, and the like are “scams.” Recently, Google announced plans to build a large facility in Finland, saying it believes obtaining the necessary permits in the United States is too difficult. Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with this and hopes they will change their mind. He believes that artificial intelligence and data centers will become the greatest engines of economic development in history—surpassing oil, gold, diamonds, and even the internet in scale. During his presidential term, the development of artificial intelligence would not be stopped by what he called “well-orchestrated destructive forces.”
