Brookfield Asset Management Affiliates to Acquire Minority Stake in American Real Estate Partners

07:19 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Brookfield Asset Management (BAM) affiliates have agreed to acquire a minority interest in American Real Estate Partners, or AREP, according to a Monday statement. The companies did not disclose the financial terms or the size of AREP stakes to be acquired. The transaction is expected to close in Q4, subject to customary closing conditions, according to the statement. Rothschild & Co served as exclusive financial adviser to AREP on the transaction, the company said.
