Granite Construction Wins $23.7 Million Road Rehabilitation Project in Glacier National Park

05:09 PM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Granite Construction (GVA) has won a $23.7 million contract from the Federal Highway Administration's Western Federal Lands Highway Division to rehabilitate 7.22 miles of Two Medicine Road in Glacier National Park, Montana, the company said late Wednesday. The rehabilitation of the primary access corridor serving the Glacier National Park's Two Medicine region is expected to provide more reliable access, the company said. Project work includes roadway reconstruction and obliteration, crushed surfacing, asphalt paving, parking area restoration, drainage improvements, and construction of new visitor amenities, the company said. Construction will begin in fall 2026 and is expected to be completed by late 2027, the company added.
