Indra develops Spain-designed Tarsis tactical drones under SANTAM program

- Program targets delivery of 147 aircraft across 49 systems during 2028-2030, supporting greater national autonomy in critical defense technologies.
- Two platforms advanced: Tarsis-W fixed-wing conventional takeoff, Tarsis-VTOL vertical takeoff; both about 10-hour endurance, 120+ km link.
- R&D focus includes nationalizing key subsystems such as navigation and control, autopilot, communications, SAR radar, onboard electronics.
- Industrial ramp-up expected to support about 500 direct jobs over four years, including about 100 roles within Indra.
