### US Dollar Index declines on July 2The US Dollar Index, which measures the performance of the US dollar against six major currencies, fell by 0.08% on the day and closed at 99.595 during the final phase of the foreign exchange market.At the close of the New York foreign exchange market, 1 euro could be exchanged for 1.1586 US dollars, slightly lower than the previous trading day's 1.1590 US dollars; 1 pound sterling could be exchanged for 1.3487 US dollars, lower than the previous trading day's 1.3514 US dollars.As for other major currency pairs: 1 US dollar could be exchanged for 158.94 Japanese yen, down from the previous trading day's 160.20 Japanese yen; 1 US dollar exchanged for 0.8133 Swiss francs, higher than the previous trading day's 0.8118 Swiss francs; 1 US dollar could be exchanged for 1.3841 Canadian dollars, lower than the previous trading day's 1.3894 Canadian dollars; 1 US dollar exchanged for 9.6250 Swedish kronor, slightly higher than the previous trading day's 9.6188 Swedish kronor.
