It is reported that the Venezuelan government signed agreements on oil expansion projects with companies including Chevron. Recently, U.S. President Trump announced on social media that the United States has reached an agreement with Venezuela, obtaining "majority control" over more than 6.5 billion barrels of Venezuela's proven oil reserves. Venezuelan Acting President Delcy Rodríguez stated that the oil cooperation agreement reached with the United States will last for 25 years, aiming to increase crude oil production to 1.5 million barrels per day and maintain Venezuela's sovereignty over its natural resources.
