Telephone and Data Systems Withdraws Buyout Proposal for Array Digital Infrastructure

06:12 AM EDT, 09/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Telephone and Data Systems (TDS) said late Tuesday it withdrew its proposal to acquire the remaining shares of Array Digital Infrastructure (AD) that it does not currently own. The company will maintain its roughly 82% stake in Array Digital, it said. Both entities plan to improve efforts to monetize the remaining wireless spectrum holdings, and Telephone and Data Systems expects to resume buying back its own stock under an existing program with $523.9 million in remaining funds, the company added.
