🔥 Bitget US Stock Hotspot Sniper|2026.09.02 Theme: Oil and rate-hike fears weigh on tech|Dell blowout validates AI infra · Broadcom after-hours test · Apple CEO handover image 0

1. Dell AI servers blow out again
Dell reported record FY27 Q2 revenue of $47 billion (+58% YoY) and adjusted EPS of $7.04. AI-optimized server revenue hit $16.4 billion (+100% YoY), with $60.9 billion in quarterly orders and a $95 billion backlog. Full-year revenue guidance was raised to $192 billion from $167 billion, and AI server guidance to $74 billion from $60 billion. Shares jumped about 7% after hours.
🎯 Beneficiaries: DELL, NVDA, SMCI; Key catalyst: Orders and backlog beat again, confirming AI capex has not slowed.

2. Broadcom after-hours print tests AI ASICs
AVGO reports fiscal-quarter results after the US close on Sept. 2. The company has guided to about $29.4 billion in revenue (+84% YoY) and roughly $16 billion in AI semiconductor revenue (up more than 200% YoY). Street estimates sit near that guide; watch custom-chip orders, networking mix, and any FY27 raise.
🎯 Beneficiaries: AVGO, plus networking names CRDO, CIEN; Key catalyst: Tonight’s numbers and outlook will set the near-term tone for chips and opticals.

3. Apple’s Ternus era starts with a bounce
Hardware veteran John Ternus officially became CEO on Sept. 1, with Tim Cook moving to executive chairman. AAPL rose about 2.6% while the broader market fell. His first internal memo teased “a huge launch next week,” pointing to the Sept. 9 fall event and lifting foldable / on-device AI hardware chatter.
🎯 Beneficiaries: AAPL, QCOM, MU; Key catalyst: Leadership handover is done and the Sept. 9 event is now in the countdown window.

4. Anthropic signs a $35 billion compute cloud deal
WSJ and others reported Anthropic struck an ~$35 billion cloud-compute pact with Nvidia-backed Lambda. Hut 8 is building the Texas Nueces County site, with Nvidia holding the lease. About 350 MW of capacity is slated for Claude expansion, extending the chipmaker + neocloud + miner-to-compute loop.
🎯 Beneficiaries: NVDA, HUT; Key catalyst: Another frontier-model capacity order lands; watch neocloud and data-center developer flows.

5. US-Iran strikes lift oil and hike odds
The US said it struck IRGC targets in Iran. WTI jumped 5.2% to $90.22 and Brent 4.6% to $94.65. The 10-year yield approached 4.80%, and CME priced roughly a 68% chance of a 25 bp hike in September. The three major indexes closed lower, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell more than 2%, and energy held up relatively well.
🎯 Beneficiaries: XOM, CVX, COP; Key catalyst: Hormuz risk premium remains; oil and rates are driving risk appetite.

6. Cybersecurity rides AI defense spend
Palo Alto Networks beat and raised after the bell, with management citing higher corporate security budgets against AI-related threats and further AI-agent M&A integration. The print rhymes with earlier results from names like CrowdStrike.
🎯 Beneficiaries: PANW, CRWD; Key catalyst: AI security spend is being confirmed in earnings; watch guidance and after-hours flows.

Trading note: September seasonality plus oil/rate pressure is pushing money out of richly valued chips and into energy and AI infrastructure names with verified orders. Tonight’s AVGO print is the swing factor — keep position size tight and watch after-hours volatility and VIX.
