Lambda, an AI cloud computing service provider invested in by Nvidia, has raised approximately $1 billion in private short-term debt to purchase computing power chips to support its collaboration project with Microsoft. According to sources familiar with the matter who declined to be named, the deal was arranged by JPMorgan and marketed to private placement investors. The sources added that the funds will be used to purchase Nvidia GPU graphics cards, which will later be leased to Microsoft.
