The main contract of coking coal futures (2701) continues to rise, currently up nearly 2%, quoted at 1,618 yuan/ton. The coking coal futures 2609 contract has surged over 4%, quoted at 1,719 yuan/ton, with a cumulative increase of over 45% so far in August.
