UK portable energy equipment supplier Aggreko (AGKO.US) applies for listing in the US, aiming to raise 1.5 billions dollars
Aggreko filed documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Monday to apply for an initial public offering (IPO), with the fundraising scale expected to reach up to 1.5 billions US dollars.
According to Zhihui Finance APP, UK-based portable energy, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and compressor equipment supplier Aggreko filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Monday to apply for an initial public offering (IPO), with the fundraising scale expected to reach up to $1.5 billion. The company plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol “AGKO,” but has not yet disclosed pricing terms. The company had previously submitted a listing application confidentially on May 15, 2026.
Aggreko is headquartered in Glasgow, UK, and was founded in 1962. The company specializes in designing, deploying, and optimizing engineered energy and temperature solutions. It provides modular solutions for various applications, including industrial facilities, data centers, and natural disaster relief efforts. Aggreko serves more than 14,000 clients in over 80 countries worldwide, employs approximately 8,000 people, and operates a global equipment fleet with a total capacity of 17 gigawatts (GW). Data shows that for the 12 months ending December 31, 2025, the company achieved revenue of $3.4 billion.
