US Stock Market Movement | Storage Chip Concept Stocks Open Lower, SanDisk (SNDK.US) Drops Nearly 10%
On Monday, U.S. storage chip stocks declined at the opening, with SanDisk (SNDK.US) falling nearly 10%.
According to Jinse Finance APP, on Monday, US-listed storage chip stocks fell in early trading, with SanDisk (SNDK.US) declining nearly 10%, SK hynix (SKHY.US) and Micron Technology (MU.US) dropping more than 6%. The news was driven by Samsung's shareholder return plan, which "fell short of expectations," as the details of its massive shareholder return plan disappointed the market. Analysts believe that the scale of its Q3 dividend was lower than expected, and with no announcement of a stock buyback, it failed to bring additional surprises. As an industry leader, Samsung's negative sentiment directly dragged down the performance of other storage chip stocks.
