Avantis plans over 500 RWA markets with V2 – Can AVNT clear $0.12?

Avantis [AVNT], a perpetual decentralized exchange on Base, returned to daily market trends after launching its V2 upgrade.

AVNT gained over 17% during the past 24 hours. Daily trading volume also jumped 1,573% to approximately $80 million.

Network activity rose alongside the price. However, could the V2 upgrade support further AVNT gains?

What changed with Avantis V2?

Avantis described V2 as its largest upgrade, expanding market access, trading capacity, and user features.

At launch, V2 added over 100 assets and offered up to $500 million in initial Open Interest capacity. The platform also outlined plans for over 500 real-world asset [RWA] markets.

The upgrade expanded Avantis’ trading instruments while offering users leverage of up to 250x.

On top of that, network activity increased throughout the week. Daily Transactions rose from 2,600 on the 8th of August to 9,400 at the latest reading. That represented an increase of approximately 262%. Meanwhile, the weekly total reached 38,500 transactions.

However, activity remained modest compared with Base’s broader user base.

AVNT’s price also reflected the stronger activity. The remaining question was whether buyers could sustain the rally.

Can AVNT price break $0.12?

The chart showed that AVNT broke above a descending trendline on the 7th of August. The token continued clearing higher levels after breaking out around $0.085.

Buy-side liquidity sat near the $0.12 resistance, making that level the next potential target.

The Trend Strength Index approached its upper range at 0.81. Meanwhile, the MACD histogram remained positive but shallow. This suggested that buyers retained control, although momentum lacked conviction.

Since the rally followed V2’s launch, event-driven demand may have contributed to the gains.

Even so, AVNT remained bullish in the short term while holding above its $0.09 higher low. The sharp rejection around $0.115–$0.12 could reflect profit-taking from traders who bought the dip.

The daily market structure also shifted bullish, suggesting a possible reversal or pause in the existing downtrend.

A decisive $0.12 breakout could extend the recovery. However, losing $0.09 may weaken the emerging bullish structure.

Final Summary

  • Avantis rallied over 17% after the V2 upgrade went live by adding $100M in liquidity instantly and committing to add another $500M in the coming weeks.
  • AVNT price broke a descending trendline after the first week of August but is facing rejection at the $0.12 resistance.
