Stocks to Watch Tuesday Recap: Intel, Trump Media, On Holdings, Super Micro -- WSJ
Dow Jones2026/08/11 20:58Intel (INTC): The chip maker increased the size of its stock offering to $20 billion, up from $15 billion announced previously. Shares prices were little changed.
Trump Media & Technology (DJT): President Trump's media business posted a 10-fold increase in losses in the second quarter in its earnings after Monday's close, driven by declines in the valuation of its digital assets. Shares closed down around 5% Tuesday after shedding 8% Monday.
Riot Platforms (RIOT): Shares closed 4.3% higher following a Bloomberg report that the bitcoin miner secured a $9.1 billion cloud deal with Anthropic.
Rocket Lab (RKLB): Shares recovered from earlier losses to close relatively flat.
On Holding (ONON): The Swiss running-shoe maker slumped more than 20% after the company posted lower-than-expected second-quarter sales.
Super Micro Computer (SMCI), CoreWeave (CRWV): Shares of both AI-infrastructure companies were surging in after-hours trading. SMCI's earnings beat Wall Street expectations, though its revenue was below estimates. CoreWeave reported its fifth consecutive quarter of record revenue.
