- Diluted EPS turned to a loss of $0.49 from earnings of $0.93; adjusted net income (non-GAAP) slipped to $21.02 million from $26.6 million.
- Net interest income climbed 82.4% to $143.2 million, while the provision for credit losses rose to $40.4 million from $4.5 million.
- Noninterest expense jumped to $171.71 million from $68.11 million, reflecting $57.56 million of merger-related expenses tied to the First Foundation deal.
- The First Foundation acquisition closed April 1, adding $11.2 billion of assets and $8.8 billion of deposits; a $150 million share repurchase program was authorized July 24.
