(3) The subsidy is expected to divert cargo from the Rostov region to transport routes via the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea, while also pushing Siberian goods towards export through Far Eastern ports to alleviate export pressure. (4) Neo, a consulting agency, estimates that by August 1, rerouting export goods from the Azov-Black Sea basin to the Baltic Sea will increase costs by $35 to $50 per ton. (5) Affected by supply disruptions in the Black Sea, wheat prices reached a one-week high earlier today.
