Bengal Energy Q1 FY27 net loss narrows 6.2% to C$242,000; revenue rises 30% to C$1.4 million
Reuters2026/08/07 10:46- Bengal Energy posted a net loss of CAD 0.2 million for fiscal 2027 Q1 ended June 30, 2026, roughly in line year over year.
- Revenue rose 30% to CAD 1.4 million, supported by higher realized oil prices of USD 124.26 per barrel, up 87%.
- Funds from operations (non-IFRS) more than doubled to CAD 50,000, as higher revenue was partly offset by higher operating expense.
- Net production fell 10% to 9,860 barrels, or 108 barrels per day; volumes from four worked-over wells have yet to return.
- The company said it is in ongoing discussions on potential farm-out opportunities and other corporate initiatives to increase shareholder value.
