DHL Group Volumes Are Strong But Valuation Is Stretched -- Market Talk
Dow Jones2026/08/07 10:221022 GMT - DHL Group earnings are in a strong patch, with the express unit booming, Bernstein analysts write. The German shipping and logistics company posted the highest quarterly EBIT performance at the unit in its history, they add. Disruption in the Middle East is seeing some volumes that would have gone through Doha and Dubai find their way onto DHL planes, but volumes are strong in all regions, the bank says. However, valuation is stretched, making the shares less attractive and hard to short if this is truly the return of growth. The bank lifts its price target to 47 euros from 45 euros and retains its market-perform rating. Shares fall 0.5% to 55 euros. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
