  2. The market is holding its breath, awaiting the latest signals on labor market health; this report may provide vital clues regarding the Federal Reserve's rate path over the coming months. The strength or weakness of the data will directly tip the probability scale for a rate hike in September.
  3. If employment growth significantly exceeds expectations, it could reinforce tightening expectations and increase the likelihood of a rate hike; on the other hand, if the data is weak, it may ease concerns about policy tightening, thereby reducing the probability of a hike.
  4. The current calm in the credit derivatives market reflects investors' cautious and wait-and-see attitude ahead of a major risk event. Any data result that exceeds expectations could shatter this fragile equilibrium.
