SK Hynix to invest $38.4 billion in expanding chip business in South Korea
BlockBeats News, on August 7, SK Hynix announced it will invest $38.4 billion to expand its chip business in South Korea. The company plans to invest KRW 19.1 trillion ($13.47 billion) in the M17 chip plant in Cheongju, with the investment to be completed by 2031. Additionally, it plans to invest KRW 35.2 trillion (approximately $24.9 billion) in Yongin for the second phase of chip plant construction.
