Mediobanca FY26 H1 net profit rises 5.9% to EUR 711.2 million; revenue climbs 6.1% to EUR 1.95 billion
Reuters2026/08/06 16:29- Mediobanca posted 6M net profit of EUR 711 million, up 5.9% year-on-year, as revenue rose 6.1% to EUR 1.95 billion.
- Operating result before credit risk climbed 11.9% to EUR 1.17 billion, while cost/income improved 3 percentage points to 39.8%.
- CET1 ratio slipped 0.6 percentage points in the half to 15.9% on higher volumes and a 100% payout; cost of risk was 54 bps.
- By division, CIB net profit rose 28.7% to EUR 172 million on revenue up 12.9% to EUR 493 million; Wealth Management profit fell 32.9% to EUR 81 million.
- Consumer Finance revenue increased 5.1% to EUR 664 million with record EUR 5.3 billion disbursements; management kept a mid-single-digit revenue growth view.
