WEMIX released a security incident update: on July 26, the ownership of two smart contracts was transferred to an unauthorized third party. The attacker deployed malicious contracts and executed nine rounds of flash loans and swap transactions, resulting in the illegal minting of 5,225,524.9997 WEMIX$. This incident was not caused by internal system intrusion or private key leakage, but by the attacker exploiting vulnerabilities in the publicly available DIOS and AMA smart contracts on-chain.
