Oobit has frozen a portion of EURR funds related to the StablR security incident
According to ChainCatcher, Tether-backed mobile wallet Oobit clarified in a post on platform X that after "on-chain detective" ZachXBT revealed that stablecoin issuer StablR’s two smart contracts (EURR and USDR) suffered a vulnerability attack involving approximately $13.5 million, related funds attempted to exit via Oobit. However, its compliance team identified abnormal activity and successfully froze a six-figure amount of EURR funds, while also closing the withdrawal channel. No user funds were affected in this incident, Oobit’s own systems were not breached, and it is working with StablR and investigators to follow up on subsequent handling.
