US prosecutors have charged three men for impersonating couriers to carry out violent cryptocurrency robberies involving at least $6.5 million.
According to ChainCatcher, citing Cointelegraph, the US Department of Justice has disclosed that Elijah Armstrong, Nino Chindavanh, and Jayden Rucker have been indicted for allegedly carrying out home invasions and kidnappings targeting cryptocurrency holders in the San Francisco and Los Angeles areas, with the amount involved totaling at least $6.5 million.
