According to Odaily, Vitalik Buterin stated on X that the recent incident involving the interference with the Paris airport's weather sensors, which affected prediction market outcomes, highlights the significant risks of relying on a single data source.
He pointed out that for data-driven prediction markets of this type, at least three independent data sources should be used and their median taken as a reference to reduce the possibility of manipulation.
